The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Last July... twin Amur tiger cubs [Tula and Nuri] were born at the Milwaukee County Zoo in Wisconsin. It is now six months later and they have grown [75+ pounds each] and matured in many ways and are very interactive with the visitors who flock to their exhibit [especially children].
